The Welby Breakfast event is back for the new school year. A recent event at Murrayburn Primary School served a healthy breakfast to 350 children.
Hillview Primary's final Welby Breakfast yesterday served 235 meals! Carol Mochan MSP witnessed the powerful impact of the Healthy Living Programme on pupils. Huge thanks to Scotmid and SGF for their support in fueling young minds and ensuring a great start to the summer.
Our HLP team concluded their fantastic Orkney trip on June 19th, 2025, with a memorable healthy snacking event at Evie Community School. Although we visited later in the day, we were proud to provide 67 healthy snacks to the pupils, emphasising how essential healthy eating is for their overall well-being and ability to focus on learning.
On June 19th, 2025, the HLP team visited St Andrew's Primary School in Orkney for a Welby Breakfast event. This marked the final day of our Orkney trip, and we had a great time bringing our Welby Breakfasts to the Islands! We served 177 breakfasts to students, focusing on providing a nutritious start to their day for energy and healthy routines.
Day 4 in Orkney wrapped up with our HLP team at Burray Primary School on June 18th, 2025, for a wonderful Welby Breakfast. We provided a vital boost to 42 pupils with a healthy breakfast, emphasising its fundamental role in their daily well-being and concentration.
Day 4 in Orkney continued with our HLP team visiting Hope Primary School on June 18th, 2025, for a dynamic Welby Breakfast and Snacking event. We served 52 pupils, not only providing healthy meals but also educating them on the importance of fuelling their bodies for both play and study.
Day 4 in Orkney saw our HLP team at Firth Primary School on June 18th, 2025, for a fantastic Welby Breakfast event. We were thrilled to provide 119 breakfasts, giving pupils a great start to their day and reinforcing the importance of a nutritious morning meal for learning.
