On Thursday 22 October 2026, the Healthy Living Programme visited All Saints Primary School in Greenock to host a Welby Breakfast, providing 330 breakfasts for pupils.
The event highlighted the importance of eating a healthy breakfast before school and helped pupils understand how a good start to the day can support their concentration and learning in the classroom.
All pupils also received a learning pack to take home, giving every child the opportunity to continue learning about healthy eating beyond the school day.
The Healthy Living Programme would like to thank Chelsa from Keystore Port Glasgow for her help with the event, as well as Paul and Katie from JW Filshill for their support and for supplying all the products. A special thank you also goes to Weetabix, as always, for supplying the cereal.
Thank you to everyone involved for helping make the Welby Breakfast possible.
Connect your school or store with the community while promoting nutritious choices for children. The food is all provided by the local retailer or symbol group.
