150 breakfasts were served at Kirkton Primary School’s Welby Breakfast, helping pupils start the day well.
The Healthy Living Team at Kirkton Primary School hosted a fantastic Welby Breakfast on the morning of Wednesday 21st October 2026, helping pupils enjoy a healthy and nutritious start to the day.
The event was a great success, with an impressive 150 breakfasts served to pupils. It was a wonderful opportunity to promote the importance of healthy eating and encourage everyone to start their day with a nutritious breakfast.
A special thank you goes to Lynne from Scotmid Community, who kindly came along to help at the event. Her support was greatly appreciated and helped make the morning a success.
The school would also like to extend its thanks to Weetabix for continuing to supply cereal for the event. We are grateful for their ongoing support in helping us provide breakfast for our pupils.
Kirkton PS would also like to thank Scotmid, who supported the event as both the wholesaler and retailer.
The Welby Breakfast was another fantastic opportunity for the Healthy Living Team to promote healthy lifestyles and bring the school community together.
