St Andrew’s Primary School Welby Breakfast
520 healthy breakfasts were served at St Andrew’s Primary School in Dundee in under two and a half hours, supported by Spar Scotland and the local Spar on Macalpine Road.
On Wednesday 28 October 2026, the Healthy Living Programme team visited St Andrew’s Primary School in Dundee, serving 520 healthy breakfasts in under two and a half hours.
The Welby Breakfast was supported by Lorraine MacPherson and Lori Watson from Spar Scotland, helping pupils enjoy a healthy start to the school day.
A big thank you goes to Spar Scotland for supplying the products, alongside the local Spar retailer on Macalpine Road for supporting the event. Thanks also to Weetabix for providing cereal for the programme’s breakfast events.
The Welby Breakfast initiative continues to bring schools, retailers and suppliers together to support healthier mornings for pupils across Scotland.
