100 stores across the Booker estate were set up with the POS kits. Stores were given a selection of Welby recipe cards, wobblers and re-usable canvas bags to give away with a purchase of a bag of bananas.
The stores were keen to encourage shoppers to try the recipes and make a healthier choice. The promotion is trying to encourage families with younger children to have a go at making a healthier snack. Consumers can pick up a recipe card in-store or scan the QR code to be taken straight to them!
The promotion resulted in a 20% increase in sales, brilliant result!
