Dykehead Primary School
On 15th May 2025, Dykehead Primary School hosted a Welby Breakfast event in partnership with DayToday Dyfrig Road and United Wholesale Scotland Ltd, serving 268 healthy breakfasts to pupils.
The Welby Breakfast at Dykehead Primary School brought together pupils, local retailers, and the Healthy Living team to highlight the importance of starting the day with a nutritious meal.
Thanks to Mrs Hanif from DayToday Dyfrig Road and support from United Wholesale Scotland Ltd, 268 pupils enjoyed a healthy, energising breakfast. The event provided a fun and educational environment to promote better food choices and connect schools with local businesses.
These breakfasts not only support healthier habits in children but also help build lasting relationships between retailers and their communities.
