Calderbridge Primary School
On 7th May 2025, Calderbridge Primary School hosted a Welby Breakfast event in partnership with Costcutter Coltness and Bestway, serving a nutritious breakfast to 350 pupils.
The Welby Breakfast event at Calderbridge Primary School was another fantastic opportunity to engage pupils in healthy eating habits and provide a positive start to their day.
Thanks to the support of Kevin McLelland from Costcutter Coltness and wholesaler Bestway, the children enjoyed a variety of fresh, healthy breakfast items, including fruit and cereal options.
The Healthy Living team were on hand to make the session fun and educational, reinforcing key messages around the importance of a balanced breakfast. With over 350 breakfasts served, the event continues the programme’s mission to foster healthy choices in schools across Scotland.
