PepsiCo are providing 320 children breakfast for 10 days

March 30, 2023

The pupils received a voucher for a free box of porridge from Quaker.

On Wednesday, 29th of March 2023, the Healthy Living Programme hosted a Welby Breakfast event which was very kindly sponsored by Scott King from PepsiCo. He provided all 320 children with the opportunity to receive a free box of porridge from Quaker. Each porridge box contains 10 sachets and offers the pupils a filling and healthy breakfast for 10 days.

Each pupil received a voucher to redeem at Mo's Premier, who was also the supplier of the breakfast ingredients. The pupils had the opportunity to sample Weetabix with milk and bananas, banana toast, and a variety of fruits. The team at Healthy Living would like to thank Mo, Tracey and Mandy for all their support on the day.

The children at Auchinraith Primary School had a great time trying the healthy food options and enjoying a fun morning with their friends. The day was filled with laughter, happy healthy bellies, and plenty of thumbs up for the 3 breakfast options.

Special thanks to Scott King from PepsiCo, Mo, Tracey and Mandy from Mo's Premier for making this breakfast event a huge success.
