The Healthy Living Programme (HLP) is delighted to announce the next stage of its long-standing partnership with SPAR Scotland, with the introduction of new dual-branded Healthy Living stands and point-of-sale (POS) materials across participating SPAR Scotland stores.
Designed to make healthier food and drink options more visible and accessible, the new displays will help shoppers quickly identify healthier choices while supporting informed purchasing decisions. The initiative reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to improving public health and creating healthier communities across Scotland.
The new in-store stands will showcase healthier products through eye-catching merchandising, making it easier for customers to choose nutritious and affordable options as they shop.
This latest initiative builds on many years of successful collaboration between the Healthy Living Programme and SPAR Scotland. Together, the partnership has delivered a wide range of community-focused activities, including Healthy Living Weeks, free fruit giveaways, school Welby Breakfast sessions, and in-store educational events. These initiatives have helped thousands of children and families across Scotland develop healthier eating habits while demonstrating the important role retailers can play in supporting healthier lifestyles.
Kathryn Neil, Programme Director of the Healthy Living Programme, said:
"SPAR Scotland has been an outstanding partner in helping us bring healthier choices to communities across Scotland. The introduction of these dual-branded displays creates an engaging in-store environment that encourages healthier purchasing decisions while supporting retailers in promoting nutritious and affordable products. Together, we're making healthy choices more visible, accessible and achievable for customers every day."
The new Healthy Living displays represent another positive step in the partnership, helping to create retail environments where healthier choices are easier to find and simpler to make. Alongside the new merchandising, SPAR Scotland continues to support the Healthy Living Programme through community outreach, educational campaigns and in-store activities that encourage healthier lifestyles for people of all ages.
By combining practical in-store initiatives with community-based health promotion, the Healthy Living Programme and SPAR Scotland are continuing to demonstrate how strong partnerships can make a lasting difference to the health and wellbeing of communities across Scotland.
