The Scottish Grocers’ Federation Conference celebrated its centenary this October at the Crown Plaza in Glasgow. Speakers from across the industry took to the stage to discuss a plethora of topics from recycling initiatives to deposit return schemes. Our very own Kathryn Neil spoke alongside NHS Health Scotland’s Claire Hislop on the subject of the Healthy Living Programme and its future in 2019 and the success of our Big Breakfast programme.
We were delighted to showcase our new point of sales stands, which have been redesigned and are now more durable and reliable than ever, for First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. We discussed the future of the Healthy Living Programme and the goals and aims for reducing child obesity by 2030 and enjoyed a positive response.
Going forward we will be redeveloping our messaging and working with our current and future partners to build on the great foundations we have established over the last few years. We will be looking to improve sales further, build on the Big Breakfast success and bring yet more options to partners and members of the Healthy Living Programme.
