Uryside Primary School
The Healthy Living Programme hosted a Welby Breakfast event for Uryside Primary School, promoting nutritious starts with help from Greens of Inverurie.

Yesterday morning, our team at the Healthy Living Programme (HLP) had the pleasure of visiting Uryside Primary School, where we sat down with 475 pupils for a Welby Breakfast event.
Our goal was to highlight the vital link between a nutritious breakfast and successful learning, ensuring the children are fuelled and ready for the classroom. As part of our long-standing initiative to encourage Scottish school children to make healthier morning choices, we showed the pupils that a balanced start - including Weetabix, fresh fruit, and toast - can be both delicious and simple to prepare.
We couldn't have pulled this off alone! The morning was a fantastic example of community collaboration, and it wouldn't have been possible without the hands-on support of Eve and Charlotte from Greens of Inverurie.
Finally, we want to say a huge thank you to all the school children for listening so well and taking on the event with such great energy. It was a pleasure to see everyone getting involved and starting their day the healthy way!
