New Cumnock Primary School
HLP served 212 breakfasts at New Cumnock PS. Thanks to Christine at Premier Cairnhill, Booker and Weetabix for helping us teach pupils how to start the day right.
On 17th February 2026, the Healthy Living Programme (HLP) team visited New Cumnock Primary School to host a Welby Breakfast event, serving a total of 212 pupils.
The aim of the Welby Breakfast events is to educate children on the importance of breakfast, especially before they start school. During the morning, the team highlighted how a nutritious start to the day is essential for the pupils' health and energy.
The initiative was supported by Booker as the wholesaler and Premier Cairnhill as the retailer. The HLP team would like to share a special thank you with Store Manager Christine for her hands-on help during the event. Further thanks are extended to Weetabix for their support in providing cereal for the pupils.
