Kirkliston Primary School
Kirkliston Primary School hosted a two-day Welby Breakfast event on 27th and 28th May 2025, delivered in partnership with Scotmid, where 613 pupils enjoyed a fresh, healthy breakfast to start their day.
Running over two consecutive mornings, the Welby Breakfast at Kirkliston Primary School was one of the largest yet — with 613 healthy breakfasts served to pupils across the school.
Thanks to the support of Scotmid as both retailer and wholesaler, the event was a great success, providing children with access to fresh, nutritious food while reinforcing the importance of healthy eating habits.
The Healthy Living team helped create a welcoming, engaging environment that not only encouraged healthier choices but also supported meaningful connections between retailers and the school community.
