Our HLP team concluded their fantastic Orkney trip on June 19th, 2025, with a memorable healthy snacking event at Evie Community School. Although we visited later in the day, we were proud to provide 67 healthy snacks to the pupils, emphasising how essential healthy eating is for their overall well-being and ability to focus on learning.
Our Healthy Living Programme (HLP) team had a great time at Evie Community School in Orkney on June 19th, 2025! This was also part of the final day of our fantastic Orkney trip, and we've truly enjoyed bringing our healthy eating initiatives to the Islands.
Although we stopped off later in the day and had passed breakfast time, we still educated the pupils on the importance of healthy snacks in fuelling their day at school. We provided 67 healthy snacks to the pupils, giving them beneficial fuel for their afternoon. With these events, we really want to show how important healthy eating is for a child's overall well-being. It helps them focus and get stuck into learning.
