The HLP and Scotmid were delighted to serve 253 pupils a healthy Welby Breakfast at Whinhill Primary, Greenock. The event educated kids on healthy starts for learning.
The SGF Healthy Living Programme (HLP) was delighted to partner with Scotmid yesterday, October 7th, to host a successful Welby Breakfast event at Whinhill Primary School in Greenock.
The interactive and educational morning provided a fantastic start to the day for 253 pupils, with the HLP team serving healthy breakfast samples to every child. The Welby Breakfast events are designed not only to provide a nutritious meal but also to educate children on the importance of starting the day with healthy food to improve focus and learning.
A huge thank you goes to Scotmid and Scotmid Greenock for their support in making the event possible. The HLP was particularly pleased to welcome Lynne from the Scotmid Community department, who attended and helped serve the excited youngsters.
The Healthy Living Programme continues to roll out its Welby Breakfast events across Scotland, ensuring that youngsters have the fuel they need for a day of learning and taking the message of healthy eating home to their families.
