On 4th February 2026, the Healthy Living Programme held a successful Welby Breakfast event at Rimbleton Primary School.
A total of 271 breakfasts were served, providing pupils with a variety of nutritious options. The event focused on educating children about the vital role a healthy breakfast plays in boosting concentration and energy for the school day ahead.
The initiative was supported by Scotmid, who acted as both wholesaler and retailer. Special thanks go to Kirsty from the Scotmid Community Team, who was on hand to help out during the event, and to Weetabix for their support. By showcasing a range of breakfast choices, the programme continues to educate pupils to make healthier starts to their day.
