Coylton Primary School

It was a morning of celebration and healthy eating at Coylton Primary School yesterday, as the Healthy Living Programme (HLP) hosted a special Welby Breakfast event.

The HLP team delivered a fun and interactive session, serving various delicious and nutritious breakfast options to 250 enthusiastic pupils in attendance. The event reinforced the vital message that a good breakfast provides the energy and focus needed for a successful school day.

The visit was particularly memorable, as the 250 breakfasts served at Coylton Primary officially surpassed the Programme's major milestone of providing 50,000 healthy breakfasts across Scotland since 2017. A small group of pupils joined the HLP team to celebrate this significant achievement.

The event was made possible with the generous support of our partners. We would like to give a special shout-out to Ross Macpherson and Cleo from Costcutter, Colyton, for all the work they did this morning and for supplying all the products for the breakfast event. We also extend our thanks to Weetabix for their invaluable contribution to the Healthy Living Programme.
