The Healthy Living team had a fantastic morning yesterday at Alexander Peden Primary School hosting another successful Welby Breakfast event. The main goal of these visits is to show the pupils just how much a nutritious breakfast helps kickstart their school day, boosting both focus and energy in the classroom.
The team was incredibly proud to have served 180 healthy breakfasts to the pupils, giving them the perfect fuel for a busy day of learning.
It was also an extra special morning for the team as they extended a very warm welcome to Allan Stonehouse. Allan joined the team for his first-ever Welby Breakfast in his new role as the Manager for the East Region at Scotmid Community.
A massive thank you goes out to Weetabix for supplying the cereal, and to Lynne from the Scotmid Community Team for all her hard work helping at the event.
